| | Definition: In-Mold Labeling -
Labeling in which a paper or plastic label is affixed to a blown container while it is still in the mold. The label's coating of heat-activated adhesive bonds it to the container before it cools and is ejected from the blow molding machine. In-mold labeling offers expanded environmental benefits and cuts out at least one step in the production of a finished container.
