He is a Principal Scientist at Innovations-IP, a Senior Member of IEEE, and consults in the areas of telecommunications, data communications, and Internet software technologies.
Expert is a Berkeley CET Industry Fellow and lecturer at the Expert's Firm College of Engineering, where he graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in networking and communications. He is a named inventor on over 60 issued and filed patents, and has published over 25 scientific papers.
Expert served as a Principal Investigator for three US Department of Defense (DARPA) projects, worked as a Principal Scientist at Nortel Labs, and served as Technical Chair of the Patent Committee for Nortel Networks' EDN. He also served as a visiting scientist at Expert's Firm's RAD Lab, and as Technical co-Chair of IEEE Interconnects at Stanford University. He received Top Talent award and Top Inventors award from Nortel.
