Expert has extensive experience in the areas of Title Insurance law, Title insurance claims, all areas of real estate law, residential and commercial real estate closings and mortgage foreclosures. Since 1986 he has been in private practice, specializing in these areas. In addition, he has owned and operated his own title insurance agency and has been New Jersey State Underwriting Counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company. Expert began his career as a Judicial Clerk in the New Jersey Superior Court. He then served for three years as a Deputy Attorney General with the Division of Law. In 2002 he assumed the position of New Jersey Regional Counsel for United General Title Insurance Company and then became Vice President and New Jersey State Underwriting Counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company. Expert has also served as Vice President for Madison Title Agency, LLC. Expert has authored nine articles in the New Jersey Law Journal dealing with real estate and title insurance issues. In addition, Expert has lectured frequently on title insurance issues and has given continuing education courses to title insurance agents. He is admitted to practice law in the states of New Jersey and New York.
