Summary of Expertise:

Listed with other top experts in:

Expert has a Ph.D in Engineering Chemistry and is an expert in material properties. He has authored nearly 30 technical reports on plastic pipe, specifically on the topics of field failures of plastic piping system components in potable water applications, accelerated Slow Crack Growth Resistance test methodology for high performance PE materials, and integrity management of plastic pipelines. He has developed a methodology for forecasting the performance lifetime of plastic piping systems through destructive testing of uninstalled pipe materials, as well as a methodology for forecasting the residual lifetime of in-the-ground piping systems through extraction of pipe sections and destructive testing. He is currently working on a project to develop technology for non-destructive inline plastic pipeline residual lifetime assessment.
