Expert graduated with a B.Sc(Agric.) degree in agronomy at the University of Natal. Having managed a reclamation and construction company in South Africa in which he had the major shareholding, He moved to the UK in 1986 to open his professional practice. His expertise lies in agronomy, soil science and project management in land reclamation and the development of sports facilities. As an expert witness his reports have centred on hazards in sporting facilities and disputes arising out of construction and maintenance procedures. He has advised in turfgrass establishment in all locations, specialising in drainage and soil management. He offers a holistic service in the construction of new sports facilities from feasibility through to construction and on-going management. Projects have been undertaken directly with local authorities, companies and private clubs. He has written a number of scientific papers published internationally and undertakes lecture assignments at Merrist Wood and Hadlow Colleges.
