• Raw Materials Inventory Management Study September 2005 – December 2005As a joint project with SAIT who were offering Educational support, we performed an operational analysis of the factors that were contributing to forced plant shut downs. We performed an analysis of ordering processes, software usage and warehouse layout. We analyzed all receiving, putaway, storage and delivery processes to the production lines for just in time (JIT) inventory management. When areas of contributing factors were identified, we measured the costs and proposed alternate processes to eliminate the procedures that contributed to forcing production shut downs.

The scope of work will include some traffic and transportation studies and the use of experts in this field. The transportation of materials and goods must be compatible with best practice in the movement of goods' including just-in–time delivery, point of use inventory and inventory management systems. We achieve this within an academic and research setting being sensitive to the movement of goods, of which some are hazardous through public areas.
