Expert has been a practicing architect for four decades and has been involved with numerous building types throughout the USA and abroad. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University and a Doctorate in Architecture from the University of Hawaii. He was involved in the development of the computerized national licensing examination of architects for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards in Washington DC. His practice has been varied with specialties in numerous building types involving housing, health-care, educational, master planning, state and local government, recreational, hospitality and financial and industrial projects. He was directly involved with the infamous Hyatt hotel skywalk collapse in Kansas City as a result of his being on the MO licensing board for architects and engineers. He was part of the fact-finding and disciplinary process in that case. He has represented numerous state and private clients in all phases of architectural and construction related cases. He is the author of a new book entitled Banks and Financial Institutions to be released in March of 2010.
