From a background in behavioural pharmacology of opiate and non-opiate analgesic drug development and cognition-related drug effects, in both university and pharmaceutical industry basic and clinical research, Expert has thirty post-doctoral years of consulting experience. Particular interests include the pharmacology of stimulant, opiate and other intoxicant drug use and abuse as relates to pain management, criminal behavior, disability evaluation and drug-related behavior found in forensic (disability, civil, criminal) applications. Drug-drug, drug-disease and drug-food interactions are common consultations, and an understanding of idiosyncratic adverse drug effects are a special focus, particularly in the medical and psychiatric populations. IME consultations as relate to therapeutic or adverse drug effects either of premorbid or post-injury treatment are provided to assist neuropsychologists, psychiatrists and psychologists. Adverse Drug Effect reviews of premarketing or postmarketing surveillance may be undertaken for certain drugs of interest.
