Expert has 30 yrs+ experience working with different aspects of paper and board production and development. As a R&D engineer he developed new coated board grades, for example the development of triplex board with high CTMP content. Later he was machine superintendent on Skoghall KM7 and got the opportunity also to produce the board. Expert was also Board Mill Manager at Skoghall when the new KM8 was installed and started up. Recently he has also been involved in training of operators in mills like Korsnäs Frövi, Korsnäs Gävle, Iggesund Hudiksvall and Workington, and Stora Enso Skoghall.

Expert has R&D experience ranging from headbox to reel. He has specifically worked with development of headboxes, forming sections, wet presses and belt calandering. Expert was responsible for the development of the Metso SYM-Belt press. Expert has also worked with the application of paper machine technology in various paper mill projects including tissue, newsprint, kraft and recycled linerboard and coated cartonboard world-wide. For some 15 yrs Expert has been responsible for R&D and technology of Valmet and Metso paperboard and packaging paper machinery. During this period the Valmet/Metso has sucessfully delivered the largest and the most technically advanced coated boardmachines world-wide. Expert was also involved in the acqusition of the Beloit technology and R&D equipment.
