He performed marketing application development with the key objective of identifying mainly PPA applications and in doing so also develop new customers. His primary contacts were engineers at the OEM, tier-one and tier-two level where the major topic was application engineering requirements, design feasibility for metal conversion to plastic. He also coordinated technical resources, performed necessary engineering calculations to confirm fit of the polymer product to the application. He developed valve actuation components business, transmission components, thermostat housings, engine mounts, caliper bushings at existing and new accounts.

He has had a one of his SAE papers published in a special edition plastics design book and has had his design and analysis work on an ATV bumper and rack system patented by Polaris. In addition to multiple SAE papers on plastic design, he has also presented papers to SPI and the National Design Engineering Conference.
