Expert has applied his mechanical engineering background to the preparation of documents for the planning, definition and acquisition of systems, equipment and elements in process, power, manufacturing, support and commercial facilities. To deploy full operable facilities confidently, he has performed the following tasks:
Identify information sources and resources.
Determine required capabilities, major subsystems, environmental and performance constraints.
Evaluate alternate concepts.
Define systems functional models, systems performance requirements, interface requirements, critical subsystems, installation and checkout requirements.
Prepare process flows and schematics, subsystems performance specifications, facilities cost estimates, engineering and construction schedules, interfaces specifications and procedures, final design drawings and specifications, details end items specifications, cost and schedule estimates.
Conduct conceptual designs, feasibility and compatibility studies.
Perform preliminaries designs and in-process inspections.
Implement configurations control procedures.
Procure materials and services.
Review and approve contractor shop and working drawings.
Supervise facilities constructions.
He has developed new systems and modified to existing ones such as oil lines, gas lines, utility lines (sewers, firewater, water systems, steam, air), process lines, manifolds, relief systems, supports and hangers, plumbing (water supply, drainage and vent, fuel gases, water and air-foam fire-fighting systems, valves and fittings), ventilating, air conditioning and dust collection systems.
He has selected driving turbines, pumps, compressors, fans, filters, floaters, separators, mixers, loading/unloading arms, firewater mains, risers, valves and fittings, heaters, coolers, evaporators, condensers, cooling towers and jib cranes.
