His educational experiences include understanding the methodology and protocols involved in practical toxicology including sensory system toxicology, epidemiology for toxicologists, target organ toxicology, and practical approaches to various conditions in toxicological assessments. He is familiar with the fundaments of risks assessments and application of recent methodologies to difficult problems often seen in practical toxicology. He is also knowledgeable on the web references for toxicologists and how to perform database and information research using new technologies in science and toxicology. He can recognize various design, evaluation, interpretation and risk assessments of reproductive toxicological testing. Because Expert has been continuing his education in the field of toxicology since 1980, his expertise includes both the historical aspect of toxicology including the development and basics of toxicology as well as the most recent, novel techniques and advancement in the field. He understands and is familiar with the risks of new technology in the field as well as the problems, perceptions and practice of the most recent advancements. hazardous nuclear material expert |
Expert served on several groups within the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Committee, focusing much of his time on the assessment of occupational safety and health. More specifically, his activities include the assessment of toxicological effects of various chemicals for the purpose of assigning levels of exposure that would be considered safe within the occupational environment. He has made contributions to the content and interpretation of the toxicology literature and has been involved in the process of implementing and setting occupational exposure limits of the various chemicals through extensive discussions. The chemicals considered were: carbon disulfide, insoluble Chromates, methoxy ethanol, asbestos, Ozone, styrene, and amorphous silica. He also served as chairman of the Sub-Committee on Toxicology and Medicine and was involved in the core physical exam committee. He analyzed material safety data sheets, reported by the various committees and was a member of the Hazard Communications group. |

ozone expert |
His experience with ozone includes working as a consulting toxicologist with an airline flight attendant union for two years. He was involved in the process of assessing the risk of exposure to ozone on flight attendants on overseas flights. He also analyzed the effect of exercise on both exposure and symptoms observed in overseas flights. He is recognized for his extensive contributions and publications on his critical reviews of occupational exposure to ozone and ozone toxicology. This factor was the major reason why his expertise was requested and sought after for this particular case. In 1979, the House of Representatives sub-committee appointed Expert as a member of the expert committee on the case regarding the investigation of the toxicology of ozone related to in-flight exposure. Expert was sought after for his extensive knowledge on health requirements and the standard practice of safety related to occupational exposure to ozone to provide a testimony on the case. He argued that acute respiratory distress and the assessment of effects on reproductive parameters and chromosomal abnormalities were directly related to ozone exposure and dose, resulting in short and long-term health effects particularly lung pathology, reproductive implication, biochemical responses and chromosomal alteration. His testimonial insights resulted in a legislation passed by the United States Congress to limit in-flight exposure to ozone. It required airlines to install catalytic converters to limit ozone concentrations in cabin-supplied air. The legislation is currently still enforced and practiced on international flights nationwide.
