Expert has over 25 years of clinical experience in managing complicated high risk pregnancies and complex gynecologic surgical procedures. He has enjoyed a very busy private clinical practice in addition to directing a residency training program in obstetrics and gynecology. He also has the experience of administering a national quality review program in obstetrics and gynecology for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has administered the activities of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the areas of professional liability, risk management, and patient safety, quality assessment, practice management, coding and nomenclature, and health economics. He has served as an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has voluntarity been recertified as a specialist on a yearly basis. He is a designated Senior Member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and has served as a member of the Ultrasound Accreditation activity of that organization. He directs the ultrasound laboratory in a busy private practice of Ob-Gyn, comprising the management of over 1500 pregnancies and deliveries per year. This unit consists of three state of the art ultrasound machines and registered sonographers. He also has significant experience in evaluating medical legal claims related to the practice of obstetrics and gynecology. He has served as a member of a claims review panel for a number of professional liability insurers in addition to directing the activities of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in this area.
