Recently nominated to the National Academy of Sciences National Research Councils committee to develop a concept of operations for the National Bio and Agro Defense Facility in Manhattan, Kansas. Expert' experience includes 30 years as an international CEO/ COO in research, production, logistics, sales, and marketing. Current projects include: Gulf spill effect on seafood short/ long term, aquaculture, fisheries, researching the eventual Pollock TAC totals for 2011 and the Chilean Salmon industry. and new projects in aquaculture and fisheries, worldwide. Expert has been part of many international and national start up corporations and has developed, and operated business in multiple locations in the US as well as Brazil, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Russia, Honduras, Ecuador as well as Ghana. Business operations were multiple areas that included; tropical banana plantations, large organic farming operations, organic aquaculture, import/export businesses, international logistical support companies as well as food processing companies. He has not only developed these businesses but has been part of the design, development and eventual operational aspects of each. He has served at the executive management and ownership levels as well as currently sits on their boards of directors.
