In 1996, He had created the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course from inception to delivery. This program overwhelmingly exceeded the particular and specific needs of Law Enforcement, Military members, Counter-Terrorism Specialists, Fire, Ambulance and public safety members at large. The Emergency Vehicle Operations Program has been around for quite some time, however, there were needs that never were envisioned or marketed into a viable solution for these specialists in their field. From designing the physical plant to learning domains, certification, curriculum, training, to hiring of personnel and advertisement, I administrated the program and also served as the head instructor of record. Because of the programs unique characteristics, specialization of its instructors and staff, it was quickly recognized as one of the leading schools of its kind in the western united States. His program has taught over 20,000 students, some as far away as Peru, The United Kingdom, and Central Asia. As a program within the County, employees were never expected to make a profit. For the 10 years he served as this programs administrator and head instructor, he had generated more income than any other program within the county. Leadership, vision, belief, resources and talent were the key factors for his success. |
