Mesh wireless is the most powerful of all the network topologies a small carrier or larger enterprise should consider. Network reliability is greatly enhanced and radio coverage is significantly improved for the $$$ spent as compared to traditional point-to-multipoint topology.

He has 30+ years experience in mobile communications and has participated in the evolution of mobile communications from IMTS through AMPS and TDMA to the current 3G technologies (W-CDMA & UMTS). A client recently contracted with him to develop a complete training curriculum on GSM cellular technology, network elements and protocols.

He has worked in microwave system design since the earliest days of his career having built common-carrier links, enterprise private carrier links and broadband access network back haul channels. He is familiar with the regulatory requirements, design principles and the vendor products in both the licensed bands and unlicensed bands. He designed and implemented point-to-point unlicensed band microwave links for the back haul network in his wireless ISP.
