Major Deliverables: Automated Arrival Flow Management (AFM). Logged over 6,000 hours “hands-on” operation application of the MITRE ASP/HOST and NASA/CSC TMA metering systems to manage arrivals to SEA/BFI/PDX. 1991 to present CTAS at Seattle System Operations. Responsible for the transition from ASP Meter to CTAS/TMA Meter at ZSE/S46/SEA/BFI/P80O/P80T. Program 6 months ahead of schedule and $5 million under budget. Arrival Sequencing Program/Time Based Metering-SEA/PDX/BFI/GEG/SEA+BFI. Seattle ARTCC TMU has successfully metered arrivals to our major airports since 1990. As a result, our facility has logged more hours than any other facility in the world. Category 3 Metering Protocols. Seattle ARTCC TMU commenced an effort to Meter only Category 3 aircraft during low RVR operations at SEA/PDX/BFI/GEG/SEA+BFI while allowing Category 1 and 2 customers an airborne hold option should conditions improve. Product delivered November, 2004. Tactical Arrival Sequencing Initiative. Tactical Arrival Sequencing Initiative (TASI) is the culmination of a one and a half year effort to maximize NAS efficiency when an impacting condition at an airport does not permit all arrivals access to the airport for an unknown period of time (e.g. weather below most customers landing minima, airport equipment outage, etc.). Product delivered for all ZSE customers November, 2004. Operations Supervisor January 1998 to September 11, 2001 Responsible for providing first line supervision of Air Traffic operations in areas A, B and C of Seattle ARTCC. Traffic Management Coordinator November 1991 through December 1997 Conceived and developed the Crescent City Arrival Reservoir Plan (CARP). Plan allows customer to determine during which phase of their operation it would be most advantageous to incur delay during San Francisco Ground Delay Programs. This program has resulted in over $10 million dollars savings to our customers. * Air Traffic Control Specialist May 1982 to November 1991 Provided Air Traffic services to customers at Seattle ARTCC, D area operations.
