He can help plan, set and revise short and long-term departmental operational targets at regular intervals. He has experience contributing to overall company business planning and strategy. He can prepare both capital and operational budgets and control department expenditure targets through motivating and developing staff, consistently achieving and surpassing Key Performance Indicators (KPI). He can ensure the efficient and cost effective utilization of machinery and equipment. He ensures that efficient services are rendered to the farmers and other departments for the smooth running of the entire company. He has experience evaluating that sugarcane of appropriate quality is harvested in sufficient quantities and delivered to the factory on time. He can assist in the development, implementation and periodic review of systems and procedures for disposal of old or uneconomical motor vehicles and machineries of the company. As well as, ensuring that the right type of machineries and equipments are identified and sourced for better production and efficiency.
