The expert specializes in providing engineering, forensic, scientific, and expert witness consulting services in the areas of accident investigation, vehicle accident reconstruction, safety, product failure, failure analysis, oil field accidents, fire, explosion, and arson investigations. The expert has laboratory facilities for product testing, safety analysis, and evaluations. For forensic purposes the expert can duplicate the conditions and factors that caused an accident or failure in a wide variety of products or devices. The expert has FEA (Finite Element Analysis) capabilities to make it possible to build virtual parts in a computer environment to test the design of a product to determine a failure point. The expert performs testing for product safety listing to ANSI, ASTM, OSHA, and other national and international standards. Products are tested to specific conditions to determine results. For example, a product may be tested to a certain force, pressure, or temperature (see categories list). The cost for this type of test will include set-up plus per test cost. Standard test results are provided. A one-time certification may be provided pursuant to a Hold Harmless Agreement. Products may be tested to establish performance or failure. The results of the test will include data and recommendations as to operating and failure conditions. The certification and cost is the same as stipulated in I-A above. Products may be tested to meet certain industry or government standards. The standard largely dictates the cost. They have thousands of standards on file. However, purchases of new standard(s) and assessment of the testing requirements will be charged at a fixed minimum prepaid. Engineering research, analysis, studies, and reports are governed by certain standards and requirements. The purpose of this statement is to confirm that these standards and requirements are followed.
