Listed with other top experts in:

For the past 26 years, Expert has used his broad experience to direct companies in establishing business strategies for growth, market expansion, mergers and acquisitions, product line and technology acquisition and other aspects for pharmaceutical, diagnostics and biotechnology companies. One of his key strengths is at the interface of technology and business. This has allowed him to create business strategy on the basis of the technological strengths of his clients.
 •

business strategy

Expert has spent the last 26 years collecting and assessing business intelligence in the biomedical, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostics industries. He has amassed his own source lists and can access information sources concerning a wide variety of business aspects in the related industries. Much of this has led to the over 180 publications, half of them book-length, that he has authored on top of the many unpublished proprietary studies for clients.
 •

business intelligence

Expert has a great deal of experience in competitive analysis for the biotechnology, biomedical, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries. He is familiar with and has files concerning their technologies, products and operations, and can refer to or develop sources as necessary. Over the past 26 years, he has used much of this information to author over 180 publications and scores of proprietary studies for clients.
 •

competitive analysis

Expert has a great deal of experience in obtaining and analyzing business intelligence in the biotechnology, biomedical, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries. He has numerous sources and extensive files on competitors in these industries. Over the past 26 years, this information has led to his authoring of over 180 publications, more than half of them book-length, and scores of proprietary studies for clients.
 •

competitive intelligence

Over the past 26 years, Expert has assisted young companies in the development of corporate strategies, from developing and writing business plans, to preparations for initial public offerings and beyond. His skill in melding technological fields with business, and understand of corporate necessities and functions gives him a "field marshall's view of the battlefield" and an innate sense of strategic direction.
 •

corporate strategic planning

Expert has both consulted in the healthcare marketing field and served as a line manager. He is skilled in the general marketing functions required and, because of his vast consulting experience, brings to any marketing position a broad base of industry knowledge that is unmatched by anyone who has served solely as a line manager.
 •

health care marketing

Expert has spent 26 years assessing the markets for biotechnology, biomedical, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and diagnostics products. He has interviewed and interacted with hundreds of physicians and scientists who are the customer base for these markets. Expert understands what will and will not satisfy the market needs of these customers, the factors involved in market size and growth assessment, epidemiology in the disease markets, and the many aspects that impact markets over time. Much of this information has led to his over 180 publications, more than half of them book-length, and scores of proprietary reports for clients.
 •

market assessment

Expert has not only provided business and market strategies to his clients, but has also provided the tactical approaches and programs to market development in many cases. In some cases, he has "filled in" as the market development manager to bring about the initiation of programs and set the process in the right direction. Expert's exceptional skills in human relations and communications set the key for his successful market development record.
 •

market development

For the past 26 years, a large part of Expert's activity has been the assessment of markets, market trends, and forecasting. Much of this information has led to his over 180 publications, more than half of them book-length, and scores of proprietary reports for clients. He has innate sense of the market forces affecting forecasts and has developed logical approaches to the understanding of the forecasting process. "Hockey stick" and "linear" forecasts tend to be the exceptions in such rational forecasting efforts.  •

market forecasting

Assessing market potential is similar to market forecasting, only foggier. Expert has clarified the fog of market potential assessment, particularly with regard to technology in the biotechnology, biomedical, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostics industries. He has developed systematized methods for assessing market potential, including his published TechScan matrix. Over the past 26 years, his market potential assessments have contributed to his over 180 publications, more than half of them book-length, and scores of proprietary reports for clients.

He has consistently been five to seven years ahead of the technology curve, a futurist in picking winning technological approaches and the routes/requirements for their success.
 •

technology evaluation

He has correctly trended every major market advance in biotechnology/medicine that he has been asked to assess over the past two decades. His combination of logic and intuitive ability used in determining trends is rare in the industry.

He has designed, conducted, and analyzed written surveys, focus groups, and Delphi processes. Many of these surveys have become primary research sources for some of his over 180 publications, more than half of them book-length, and scores of proprietary studies for clients.
 •

market research

Expert's line marketing experience, broad abilities in business and technology, understanding of the markets and the consumers that comprise them make him an excellent strategic market planner. He goes beyond the classic "product-pricing-placing-promotion-packaging" formula to one that extends to the concept of the unfolding market. Expert's skills in technology assessment, trending, forecasting, technology assessment, and consumer understanding, as well as his intuitive abilities, provide him with a rare ability to provide market strategies for the short, intermediate, and long term in the biotechnology, biomedical, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostics fields.
 •

strategic market planning

Expert's training, experience, and abilities in both technology and business have provided him with rare skills in strategic planning. Combined with his intuitive abilities, he has used his background to help clients, large and small, with strategic planning and implementation that has included major corporate acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations.
