Expert brings his wide experience to interactively help his clients find the most economic solution to the handling and distribution side of their businesses. These solutions cover logistics, inventory management (how much to buy, when, how and in what form) and material handling systems for manufacturing, distribution and retail organizations. Projects he has deep experience with in the distribution software arena include WMS specification and implementation schemes, JIT and cross-dock systems. Expert is experienced at working interactively with clients to develop facility plans that balance future flexibility, space use, operating cost and up-front capital costs, followed with slotting system assistance and move plans which yield more efficiency in days, not months, after the move and have little or no impact on customer service. Expert is adept at designing fulfillment systems with seasonality, peak loading, ergonomics, reaction time and efficient use of labor to meet client ROI targets. These systems range from simple pushcarts to conveyor pick-and-sort to very narrow aisle to various levels of automation leading to well designed packing, loading and shipping systems. Expert maintains non-financial working relationships with equipment and software vendors but represents none. He works with and for clients to help shape and then meet their goals. |
