Expert has his main technical strengths in signal processing, all aspects of RF (including antennas, propagation, and microwave subsystems) and system and component design and analysis. His experience spans more than 27 years in the fields of radar, electronic warfare, communications, reconnaissance, and EMP (electromagnetic pulse). He has guided and contributed to state of the art R&D, proposals, programs, and projects for military systems related to HF radar and communications, utilizing and applying new technologies, performing system and mission analyses, developing microwave structures, devices, and subsystems, developing signal processing algorithms and techniques, and performing propagation analyses and studies.
Expert also consults in the areas of radar, electronic warfare and radio communications. He is knowledgeable of anti-jam (AJ) technology, receivers, tracking systems, waveform design, signal transmission & propagation, jamming, ECCM, cable communications, telephone transmission, power transmission, spoofing, low probability of intercept (LPI), detection, link analysis, SIGINT, COMINT, ELINT, ECM, phased arrays, modulation, information, radio, lightning, modems, microwave integrated circuits (MIC), integrated circuit antennas, electric fields, and electrostatics.
Expert's antenna experience includes the development of a near field antenna test chamber, conventional antenna measurements, phased arrays, and antenna tracking for telemetry, communications, radar, and electronic warfare applications. Many structures and frequency bands were considered. He designed novel antenna elecments and arrays. He also considered propagation through vegetation, multi-paction in space, and ionosphere proagation, quasi-optical situations, diffraction, multi-path scattering, etc.
Expert's C3I and radio communication experience covers the ELF, HF, VHF, and UHF bands as well as microwave frequencies between 1 and 60 GHz. Equipment platforms were ground based, ship borne, and airborne (includend Unmanned Airborne Vehicles). Satellite links were also involved. Many of the commmunication links were highly survivable and reliable. They operated in cover/LPI modes, resisted jamming and EMI, and withstood EMP and lightning. Sometimes, other equipments were used to communicate. The specialized link design interacted with mission planning, sensor development/interfacing, radio location, and data exploitation. Expert also helped companies meet FCC requirements. This experience was for both military and commercial applications.

Expert has lectured about the effects of electromagnetic fields on humans. He has lectured about safety procedures and standards. He designed EMI measuring chambers, TEM Cells and equipment. He analyzed and tested susceptibility of equipment to external and internal fields. He has corrected electrostatic discharge (ESD), radio frequesncy interference (RFI), and electromagnetic interference (EMI) problems. Expert has also analyzed and designed lightning and nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) protection. Some of the companies that this service was performed for include: GTE, Symbol Technologies, Sun Microsystems, PMI, Cuase, Martin Marietta, HoHoKus, Norhtrp, DAJEM and VitaTech.

Expert has extensive experience with all kinds of radar; this includes conventional and SAR airborn radar, shipboard, ground-based, ground-penetrating, terrain avoidance, altimeteres, fuses, ISAR, surface wave and over-the-horizon types. He pioneered the design and processing of radar warevforms and antennas to provided unconventional communications, target identification, multistatic and passive detection, low observable detection, and the detection of targets buried in clutter. In addition, he analyzed radar signatures to gather electronic intelligence (ELINT). He also developed tehcniques to jam/spoof and otherwise interfere with (conduse) radar (ECM) and countered these threats (ECCM).
