These include cis- and trans-reinoic acids, antibiotics, antibacterials, antifungals, steroidal and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, ultra-violet A and B screens, benzoyls and other peroxides, salicylic acid-resorcinal-hydroquinone, and anesthetics. This experience included the development of special formulations to achieve enhanced delivery, bioanalytical techniques to measure penetration in vitro through excised human skin, and techniques to measure penetration in vivo.

He has worked with oral dosage forms (tablets, effervescent chewable capsules, liquids, and sustained release), parenteral forms (ampules, vials, dry sterile fill, and lyophilization), topical (creams, ointments, gels, liquids, films including transdermal delivery systems), and other forms including aerosols, suppositories, inhalers, and vaporizers.
His experience also includes optimizing clinical design, enhancing regulatory approaches and do it yourself products such as Homer Formby, Thompson Water Seal, and Tri-Flow lubricating oils.
