Expert is an internationally recognized authority on the electronic display industry. He provides investment advice to the financial community and strategic, technical, and marketing guidance to corporate management. He specializes in flat panel displays and related products, high definition television, and military systems. He has lectured extensively on these topics both in the U.S. and abroad. ELECTRONIC FLAT PANEL DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY, MANUFACTURING, AND PRODUCTS. Expert has made leading technical contributions in electroluminescent, active matrix, field emission, and other display technologies. During his tenure as a Division Director for the U.S. Army, he was responsible for all aspects of their extensive display and silicon microfabrication programs, including research and development, technology insertion, systems integration, and manufacturing methods. He pioneered the currently prominent use of flat panel displays in a wide variety of military and commercial systems. He is also highly knowledgeable of liquid crystal displays, light emitting diodes, electrochromic devices, touch sensitive screens, cathode ray tube displays, and their various device and system applications. He was a spokesman for the use of displays throughout the armed services, serving on DOD's prestigious Advisory Group on Electron Devices and is currently General Chairman of the 1999 SID Display Manufacturing Conference. RESEARCH MANAGEMENT PROCESS. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sigmatron Nova, Inc., Expert directed a streamlining and focusing of the company's technical and business activities and was highly successful in the sales of emerging products. He is experienced in research management and administration, strategic research and market planning, and technology transfer. Expert has assisted a number of companies in receiving government R&D contracts and has helped guide their internal programs.
