SILK SCREEN PRINTING. Expert is knowledgeable in all phases of silk screen printing, including art preparation, photography, screen making, color matching, printing, drying, and finishing. He owned and ran his own plant for 24 years. In the process of doing this he modified existing equipment and designed special purpose equipment. His plant printed onto metal parts, posters, displays, and microminiature parts. GRAPHIC ARTS. Expert has been involved in the preparation of artwork, and specifications for all types of printing. He has been involved in vendor selection, liaison, and inspection for both short run and high volume production. PAD PRINTING. Expert has extensive experience in applying pad printing techniques for printing irregular surfaces and shapes including microminiature printing such as watch crystals, automotive parts, and toys. METAL FINISHING. Expert is well versed in all phases of metal finishing, both mechanical and chemical in nature. This includes sanding, sandblasting, embossing, priming and painting, anodize, iridite, and others. PRODUCT DESIGN. Expert spent 20 years in the design, prototype development, prototype testing, and production of new products, from miniature mechanisms, to electrical appliances, to large electronic systems. PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS. Expert had primary responsibility for exotic electronic systems, including technical management, scheduling, and expenditures. Invariably, he completed all facets of these projects on time and within budget. FLEXIBLE CIRCUIT SCREEN PRINTING. Expert is well versed in design and printing of flexible lexan front panels and flexible switching devices. VALUE ENGINEERING. Expert has been involved with the evaluation and redesigning of products and systems in order to eliminate duplication, improve producibility and reduce costs. His experience includes product modification, product tooling, vendor selection, and liaison. He is a past President of the NYC Chapter of the Society of American Value Engineers. PRESSWORK. Expert is knowledgeable of the design and application of silk screen presses in sizes from miniature printers up to 4- x 8-foot sizes. This includes hand printing as well as high production cylinder presses (General, Sakurai). MEMBRANE SWITCHES. Expert has significant experience in designing, printing, and assemblying membrane switches, flexible printed circuitry, and multicolor faceplates for switch assemblies.
