TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER. Expert has coordinated the transition of new technologies from the laboratory to field demonstration, and then to commercial availability and marketing. He founded a trade organization dedicated to technology transfer in the metalworking industry. Expert developed co-operative programs involving industry, government, and academia. He provided the organizational, managerial, and marketing skills needed to start-up the trade group, successfully submitted matching grant proposals, and was awarded matching funds. He signed a "Space Act Agreement" with NASA to transfer advanced industrial sensor technology.

MARKETING RESEARCH. Expert conducted market research relating to new industrial technologies. He studied market entry strategies, price sensitivity, competitive analysis, and barriers to market introduction and penetration. He developed and successfully launched several new technology ventures involving the design, development, and implementation of business and marketing plans and programs.

TECHNICAL MARKETING. In a related area, Expert has been deeply involved with marketing of new products, technologies, and services using state-of-the-art marketing database programs and techniques. He has played an active role in advertising, public relations, sales, sales training, trade shows, publications, focus groups, and group presentations.

MARKETING SOFTWARE. As an authorized marketing partner for a leading marketing database software application, Expert is proficient in the adaptation and customization of marketing software for specific industry or marketing applications.

Expert gained his Professional Certification from the Institute of Gas Technology in 1980.

He launched an initiative to create a first-of-a-kind apprenticeship training program. He wrote and won a $42,000 grant to assist with the development of the program.

Expert has experience locating vendors of: Marketing database software, combustion systems, natural gas metering, and natural gas transportation services.
