Throughout his career Expert has worked on various calcium metabolic disorders in infants and adults including rickets of prematurity, osteomalacia, and osteoporosis. CHROMATOGRAPHY; LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY; HIGH-PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY. Expert has worked with and developed many chromatographic systems including HPLC, affinity chromatography, extraction chromatography on both lipid and proteins including enzymes. RADIOIMMUNOASSAY. Expert has developed several RIAs and radioreceptor assays for the calcium-regulating hormones as well as vitamin D and its metabolites. EXTRACTION; CHEMICAL ANALYSIS EXTRACTION. He has developed many extraction procedures with regard to fat soluble vitamins from various matrices including blood and food products, especially milk.
