He is an active consultant internationally, assisting in the start-up of new film plants, plant evaluations, and product and process improvements in compounding as well as blown and cast films. He has extensive knowledge of blown and cast film process equipment from the extruder to the finished roll and winder. POLYMER COMPOUNDING PROCESSES AND EQUIPMENT; PELLETIZING; GLASS FIBER POLYMER COMPOSITES. Expert has extensive knowledge of polymer compounding processes and equipment and their application in polyethylene and polypropylene resin plants as well as acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) and polystyrene plants. He has worked with single and twin screw extruders, FCM, Banbury, two roll mills, underwater pelletizers, and ko-kneaders. He was responsible for upgrading compounding equipment so as to maintain and improve product quality and he successfully improved the dispersion of glass fibers, calcium carbonate and titanium dioxide into various polymers, increasing output rates by 100-300%.
