ISO 9000 SERIES QUALITY SYSTEM STANDARD; QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM; TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT. Expert has established quality management systems for small high-technology companies to the requirements of one of the ISO 9000 International Standards. The ISO 9000 registration is a recognition that the company develops, manufactures, and delivers quality products. TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT; SEMICONDUCTOR QUALITY ASSURANCE; QUALITY CONTROL. Sandy has extensive experience in establishing and managing Quality Assurance departments for companies specializing in semiconductor products. The concept of total quality management (TQM) is practiced in all parts of Sandy's management position. The activities consisted of creating a Quality Assurance Policy Manual, establishing procedures to implement the policies, setting up documentation controls, quality control inspection points, training quality personnel, conducting quality audits, and working with customers to ensure their requirements were met. A program of continuing quality improvement is a major focus. MILITARY SPECIFICATION QUALITY ASSURANCE; SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING TO MILITARY SPECIFICATIONS. Sandy has established quality management systems compliant to military specifications for four companies. He is knowledgeable of many military specifications, including MIL-PRF-38535, "General Specification for Integrated Circuit Manufacturing," MIL-STD-883 "Test Methods and Procedures for Microcircuits," and MIL-Q-9858, "Quality System Requirements." QUALITY AUDITING. To ensure the receipt of quality products from vendors and subcontractors, Sandy has conducted surveys and audits to verify that the vendors and subcontractors are supplying products that meet the company's quality requirements.
