Such practices, by all levels of staff, needed to be evaluated, updated and improved. She has kept a detailed log of infections, noting trends and other specifics.

Expert managed the health of student nurses in a hospital school of nursing and the health practices (pre-employment, annual, incidents) at two home care agencies. She chaired an interagency council on AIDS, managing volunteers and resources.
