Expert has most recently been involved with recommending the types and grades of stainless rods and wire for various applications in the aerospace, construction, and defense industry. He is frequently called upon by designers and engineers to propose solutions for processing problems, and to guide designers in meeting the minimum strength and corrosion resistance requirements.

Expert was a product specialist for Armco, advising contractors, engineers, and specifiers regarding properties and applications of stainless. His work was part of the marketing department.

For over 30 years, Expert has worked as a mill metallurgist in mini and integrated mills in rods, wire, and cold rolled/hot rolled sheet. He is familiar with process routes, heating and cooling of steel, as well as relating customer specs to mill specs. Additionaly, he has expertise in customer service and troubleshooting.

Expert spent three years starting up a new mini-mill in Trinidad (Iscott), where he initiated a quality control department. He also trained inspectors and established a technical service group.
