These containers include glasses, plastics, pouches, premade-form/fill/seal pouches of various laminations, and cans. He has used metal and plastic closures with various types of labels such as pressure-sensitive and thermal/heat-sensitive adhesives with setup lines which are semi- or fully-automatic. He is fully experienced in writing the specifications for the above procedures.

Expert has had approximately 20 years of experience in the area of flexible packaging. He has worked with various polymer films, many different foils, paper substrates, and various laminations in the technology of horizontal and vertical form-fill-seal packaging engineering. This has involved packaging liquids, powders, capsules, and tablets using various films. Upon doing this, he has subsequently collated and packaged the finished pouches into bulk containers or cartons. Expert teaches an 8-hour seminar on the form-fill-seal technology. Recently, he presented a seminar on flexible packaging for the food industry.

As a Research Chemist for Monsanto Chemical Company's Agricultural Chemical Division, Expert gained experience in the processing, packaging, and distribution of hazardous and agricultural chemicals in containers sized from eight ounces to tote bins holding 600 gallons. Currently Expert works as an expert witness for law firms, where he provides expertise in the areas of product liability in the manufacture and transportation of hazardous chemicals.

Expert has had extensive experience with a variety of containers used in the packaging industry. These have included plastic bottles from 1.0 cc ampules to 5.0 gallon carboys, glass bottles from 1.0 cc ampules to 1.0 gallon bottles, stand-up pouches, metal cans and containers, various metal outer closures, and special-design containers for specific products. He has also worked with plastic containers with special dispensing heads and form-fill containers which are formed, product-filled, and sealed in one automated process.

Expert has had experience in the design of packaging for food products, drugs, medical devices, and industrial products over the last 30 years. This has involved making recommendations regarding the type of film to be used, structural considerations, compatibility between product and package, permeation, and criteria of moisture, heat, light, and gases. He has also dealt with the regulations involved in determining the type of packaging, the recommendations on packaging components, and how the proposed package will run on a packaging line.
