Sexual harassment is also the subject of some of her academic writing and speaking engagements.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT. Discrimination against disabled individuals is another area of employment law in which Expert has experience both as a practicing attorney and in her teaching. "The Americans with Disabilities Act: Coping and Complying with Employment Discrimination Law" is the title of her training video in this area.

CORPORATIONS, PARTNERSHIPS, AND SOLE PROPRIETORSHIPS. Creating and reorganizing business organizations consumed a significant portion of Expert's time when she was a practicing attorney. She continues to keep current in this area through her teaching.

NEGLIGENCE LAW. Negligence law applies to a broad range of contexts which can span one's business, professional, and personal life. Whether dealing with a design defect, professional malpractice, or automobile accident, negligence law is likely to be used to resolve the underlying dispute. She is particularly interested in negligence law as it is applied to product liability law suits, liquor liability litigation, and employment disputes.

CONTRACT LAW. Drafting business and other types of contracts was a regular part of Expert's responsibilities at her law firm. She continues to teach in this area, as contract law is one of the cornerstones of any business law course.

ENGINEERING ETHICS. Expert teaches professional (sometimes called applied) ethics as part of her Engineering Law & Ethics course. She has also written in the area. In addition to her law degree, she took a number of graduate courses in philosophy in order to prepare for this undertaking.
